Job Title: Account Manager
Reports To: VP of Sales
The Account Manager will play a leading role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable driving the sales process forward, making cold calls, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and most importantly closing sales.
Responsibilities:
- Create new sales opportunities through lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
- Visit customers/prospects in your sales territory 3-4 days/week
- Discover & develop customer needs and pain to move sales forward
- Close sales, land new customers and achieve monthly sales targets
- Research accounts, identify new customers, key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand our current customer base within your assigned area
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
- Build and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Set regular follow-up visits to maintain contact with key customers
- Maintain CRM and database so that is accurate and up to date at all times
- Ensure customer orders are entered in a timely manner
- Assist with your client’s customer service needs
- Potentially be able to offer support at the local warehouse
- Be able to fully demonstrate the value proposition at the start of every trial to the trial personnel
- Coverage of 10 states
Qualifications:
- Sales or Related Experience 3+ Years
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think on your feet and respond to customers quickly
- Able to travel to visit customers by flying and driving
