Sales support and customer service will play a critical role in the continual growth of Avaska while onboarding an increasing number of customers. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • First and primary inside contact for product related questions, quotations, inventory status, product returns, credits, and general sales inquiries
  • Order entry – managing [email protected] inbox, as well as call in orders
  • Creating quotes
  • Verifying customer information and adding new customers into CRM/ERP
  • Responding quickly to customer request, within 1 hour during business hours
  • Handling custom branded orders including receiving artwork from the customer and communicating with operations regarding capabilities and timeline
  • Communicating with operations regarding stock and lead times
  • Communicating with customers regarding any backordered shipments, offering alternatives and updating with estimated ship date
  • Effectively handling requests from outside sales staff, assisting with tasks such as updating information in the system, handling portal set-ups, sending credit app’s, entering notes/tasks from visits and entering leads
  • Potentially assisting in other non-core areas occasionally to support with low staff levels and higher than normal volumes

Qualifications and skills:

  • Customer service experience, 2+ years preferred
  • Client-focused solutions mindset – proven track record working with customers and maintaining strong relationships
  • Ability to work in a dynamic business environment, organize, prioritize, and complete tasks at own initiative with minimal supervision
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
